Xash build 2402 bugs

I downloaded xash and began playing with it. I really like the engine. I found it when I was reading about how to load HL BSPs because I was going to attempt to make something like this, but I found it already exists. I've found a few bugs in build 2402 and I thought I'd tell you even though you probably already know about them.

1. The crowbar does not always work. Occasionally, when you press the mouse button, the crowbar doesn't swing.

2. The laser from the Egon gun doesn't aim in the right direction. It aims to the upper left of the screen.

3. The LAN game lags for the clients. The server is ok. I tried with no mods and all textures and objects from the original game and it still lags.

The first two I may be able to fix myself because I'm familiar with c++ (still learning). The last one seems like it may be more complicated. Either way, I want to tell you so the changes will be made in the actual release.

type cl_predict 0 in console, then cl_lw 0

Thanks, that works perfectly. I looked at the source and realized that the hl.dll and client.dll are almost (or maybe exactly) the same as the HL SDK.

Any idea why the clients are lagging?

Ok. Are there any plans for when this will be finished? I'm really interested in trying it.

I am not really familiar with how the network works, so just ignore this part if you like. It makes sense to me that without this, the clients and the server when looking at a client may look laggy, but why is it laggy for the client itself? I'm assuming it's because the server controls the clients position. Why not make it so the client controls it's own position and then send it to the server in an amount of time?
